Contact the desk
One address, what it is good for, and what happens to what you send.
Everything reaches the same place: [email protected]. The form at the foot of this page goes to the same desk and saves you opening a mail client; it is our own service rather than a bolted-on comment box, it is carried for us by Fortunida, and what it collects is set out under the two forms. Mail sent the plain way is read exactly the same; nothing here needs a form to reach us.
What is worth writing about
A correction. Name the page and the sentence. If a number here disagrees with the document it came from, send the document — that settles it fastest. Corrections are published on the page that was wrong, with the date.
A broken link. Name the page you were on, not only the address you landed on. Links inside this site that go nowhere are a defect on our side; outbound links that have rotted get unwrapped into plain text rather than silently redirected.
A document. Register entries, licence decisions, terms and conditions, operator filings, regulator correspondence. This desk prints numbers only with a source, so a document is the single most useful thing anyone can send it.
What this desk cannot do
It cannot intervene in a dispute with a gambling operator, recover a balance, unlock an account or chase a withdrawal: it has no standing anywhere and no relationship with any operator. For that, the licence on the operator’s own footer names the authority with jurisdiction, and that authority has a complaints procedure. It also cannot help with the 2018 ballot committee whose name this domain carries — this desk is not that committee.
Mail we do not answer
Link-building offers, guest posts, bonus codes and “partnership” proposals. New editorial pages here are not for sale, and the paid placements that exist in the archive are disclosed and stay exactly as they were published.
No byline, on purpose. Material here is signed by the desk and not by an invented person: if you see a name on a page, it belongs to someone quoted or to the author of a document, never to a persona we made up to look like a staff of ten.
Each number has an owner. Revenue lines, tax shares, licence numbers and dates are copied from the filing, report or operator page that holds them, and the sentence using a figure says where it came from. Where the source has no figure, this site leaves the sentence out instead of estimating one.
Mistakes get fixed in place. Point one out at [email protected]: the wrong line is rewritten on the page you read it on, with the old wording quoted underneath, so the change is visible rather than quietly swallowed.
