What was on this page
This was the campaign’s media page: the address where its videos and press material were embedded. The embeds pointed at third-party players, and when the snapshot of this site was taken there was no video left on the page and no text either — an empty frame where a hosted player used to be. We have not reconstructed it, because we would be guessing at what it showed.
The address is kept answering for the ordinary reason: links out there still point at it, and a link that resolves to an honest explanation is worth more than one that redirects to a home page. What the campaign actually argued survives in writing elsewhere in this archive — the amendment text as filed, with its four licences and the counties named in it, the three promise pages, and the list of places where the petition was signed.
No byline, on purpose. Material here is signed by the desk and not by an invented person: if you see a name on a page, it belongs to someone quoted or to the author of a document, never to a persona we made up to look like a staff of ten.
Each number has an owner. Revenue lines, tax shares, licence numbers and dates are copied from the filing, report or operator page that holds them, and the sentence using a figure says where it came from. Where the source has no figure, this site leaves the sentence out instead of estimating one.
Mistakes get fixed in place. Point one out at [email protected]: the wrong line is rewritten on the page you read it on, with the old wording quoted underneath, so the change is visible rather than quietly swallowed.
